No, the JAMB cut off mark for 2023 is not officially out. The Board has yet to hold its annual policy meeting where the general minimum cut off mark is decided. The cut off mark for the 2022/2023 admission exercise may differ from this year’s JAMB (2023/2024 admission).

The “Cut Off Mark” refers to the minimum score one is allowed to achieve before being eligible to participate in a particular program. In the context of JAMB, it is the minimum score students must achieve before being allowed to participate in the Post UTME of their chosen school.

Some state universities like Ambrose Alli University (AAU) and Delta State University (DELSU) prefer to stick with JAMB’s minimum score of 140. Most private universities adhere to the minimum cut off mark of 140.
JAMB Cut Off Mark for Federal Universities

After understanding the general JAMB cut off marks for various institutions, it’s essential to look at specific courses and their cut off marks. Medicine and Surgery
The cut off marks for Medicine and Surgery vary depending on the institution. However, some state universities may set their cut off marks slightly lower. International Relations

To be on the safe side, aim for a higher JAMB and Post UTME score to increase your chances of getting admitted into an International Relations program.
Pharmacy
Pharmacy is another competitive course, and its cut off marks vary among institutions. As with Medicine and Surgery, top universities like the University of Ibadan (UI) and the University of Lagos (UNILAG) may set a higher cut off mark for Pharmacy, around 200. However, some state universities may have slightly lower cut off marks. Again, scoring high in JAMB and Post UTME exams is essential to secure admission into a Pharmacy program.
